DAY 1: WELCOME ABOARD: HANOI – HALONG BAY(L, D)

Our driver will meet you at your hotel at 7:45am to take you on the 4-hour drive passing the countryside of the Red River Delta to Halong Bay.

(This transportation is on your request).

Boarding time is at 12:15 pm. Upon boarding guests are greeted with a welcome drink and gather in the dining room for a comprehensive safety and boat orientation briefing followed by itinerary details.

After the briefing and check in we have a bit of free time till lunch is served at 1:00pm. Lunch is a multi-course Vietnamese and Western set menu. Any and all dietary needs will be catered to. It’s also a relaxing way to enjoy specially prepared lunch while cruising towards thousands of amazing limestone islands emerging from emerald water, passing by Stone Dog islet, floating fishing village, incense burner islet, fighting cocks islet,…

In the afternoon, boarding trip visits Heavenly Palace Cave – the most beautiful one in Halong Bay. Then you have a chance kayaking about an hour or more through slide rock cliffs. And swimming time, this is great chance to relax in water, jumping, diving, take a back flip, somersault. After that,  joint the sunset party on the sundeck in warm and romantic atmosphere, drinking wine, enjoy fresh fruits, listening soft, light music from the sundeck bar… or enjoy the sunset from the sundeck or while swimming, then a dinner will be served on board at around 7:30pm.

Dinner is a sumptuous buffet featuring an array of salads, seafood, meat dishes, seasonal fresh fruits and deserts. Then, it’s the moment you choose your own way to relax after dinner, watching movies, listening to Vietnamese traditional music, wearing costumes for King, Queen and mandarin to take photo. Besides, board games, squid fishing available for  entertainment during the night time.

DAY 2: HALONG BAY – CATBA ISLAND(B, L, D)

The next morning coffee, tea, fruits and breakfast pastries are on offer from 6:45. Tai Chi lessons are led by our tai chi master at 6:00 to 6:30 before breakfast. And then back to the cruise for check-out and take a local boat to LanHa Bay. Local boat trip to visit Monkey Island(if permitted).

Lunch is served in NamCat island, and here, after check-in the bungalow, it’s free time for kayaking and many activities in Nam Cat island exploring untouched area in Lan Ha Bay or join the trip to Viet Hai village (if you stay in Cat Ba Sandy Beach resort ) – biking to visit the village in the valley – located in the middle of Catba national park (The trip to Viet Hai village is optional and not included: Extra USD 5/per for entrance fee, boat trip, tour guide, bike and insurance).

Buffet dinner at Bungalow, go fishing, relax on the sandy beach, listening to sea wave at very peaceful and quiet place.

DAY 3: CATBA ISLAND – HALONG BAY – HANOI(B, L)

The next morning, coffee, tea and breakfast pastries are on offer from 6:45 at bungalow. After that, say goodbye NamCat island, picked-up at bungalow by boat. About one hour is spent on the bay to get on the cruise to attend the cooking class while cruising back Halong harbor.

Farewell lunch served on the cruise before you arrive at harbor and get on the bus back to Hanoi.

Driver will be awaiting you at the dock to take you back to your hotel or residence in Hanoi.

11:15 AM: Have lunch on boat

12:00 noon: Arrive Halong or Tuanchau Habour & get on bus back to Hanoi.

16h30: Time for kayaking around surprise cave area. You will have got around 45 minutes to explore halong bay and some tunnel by yourself
17h15: Back to the cruise, cruising to Drum cave for docking. Passing many beautiful islets on the bay: Head man’s face islet, Saddle horse islet, Fairy lake, drum cave, Virgin cave.

08h15: Rowing small local bamboo boat (around 1 hour) to visit Vung Vieng Fishing Village. Our guide will give you some information
and interesting facts about this fascinating village and its local community.
09h30: Back to boat. Take time to refresh and relax before checking out.
Keep sailing back to the Habour through the waters and passing many beautiful islets and island on the Baitulong Bay.
10h30: Vietnamese Cooking Class.
11h00: An early lunch is served.
12h00: Arrive at the pier. Time to say goodbye to the crew

Let me tell you my story: Lost in BangKok at night

In February my friends and I went to BangKok Water Festival and managed to dance on the official parade. One night we decided to celebrate and joined a street party in the central part of BangKok. It can get
quite rough at night, especially when you are solo. Well, that night I made a mistake of initiating contact with too many locals and not taking the phone with me. It resulted in losing all my friends in the crowd. I found myself in unknown territory, slightly intoxicated, without a T-shirt, a phone, and as I realized, no money.
Guess what? That night I didn’t put any cash into my secret pockets. It was a terrible mistake, which forced me to walk for hours through treacherous neighbourhoods. Let’s leave the full story for the next time though. The point is that even a small pile of  Thai Baht  in my secret pocket would’ve saved me a lot of trouble. I learnt the lesson.

It is related to a legend the King Dragon. The legend had said that: After the King Dragon help our country to defeat the enemy, he came back its place. But unfortunately that year maked a drought and the people was poverty, so they came to pray the king supply the rain for drinking, planting trees, rice,... There were many people went but they didn't come back. Not afraid of danger, the couple went to pray the King Dragon. On the way they had a beautiful small girl. She grew up and more beautiful. Her name is May can be translated Cloudy. When miss May met the Prince of King Dragon, they fell in love with each other. And the wedding was held after a few days. In order to celebrate, there are many flying dragons loamed on the clouds. The wedding takes 7 days and 7 nights at the centre of cave. The dancing elephants. The 2 stone tiger are dancing. At the air force the eagle are waving. A big elephan is decorated sophisticatedly to wait the Groom and Bridge step down... All the scenery seems to be turned into stone.

In the centre of Cave is 4 stone pillars. It is very tall, big and it can support the heaven from falling down. From the bottom to the top there are many strange shape and it is very interesting. In the North of Cave there is some kinesis dancing to celebrate on wedding. When you go to the last Cave you will see a natural water tap. It is always available everyday, every month and every year. The water is very clean. This is a place which Mrs May had a bath for her children and brought up them. There is a curved road that is Mrs May with 50 children left home to improve the new land. And a half children stay here with their father to build the countryside. And the old object to be maintained is a fairy wet-nurse.

Thien Cung Cave in HaLong Bay is discovered in 1993, the area of this cave is about 2500m2. It's 25 meters wide and 120 meters long.
